\n\t\t\t\t\tSUTURA is a project space for contemporary art that questions our relationship with health, well-being, and the quality of our lives. \t\t\t<\/h2>\n\t\t

The current challenges of medicine and sustainability, technology, our relationship with our senses, and the many stories that emerge within the clinics of the IFT find resonance in the research of artists who build imaginary worlds, relationships, and paths as tools for listening and growth. SUTURA opens an exchange of reflections between the public of contemporary art and healthcare, exploring the relationship between culture and health to reveal needs, fragilities, fears, and necessities that manifest around a theme of great shared concern: personal and social well-being.<\/p>\n\t\t

\n\t\tVirginia Moniaci\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\t

Virginia Moniaci is the General Director of a group of healthcare companies, including IFT, a specialized medical center, and the founder of SUTURA. Virginia graduated in Economics and began her career at the National Museum of Cinema in Turin and the 'Environment Film Festival'. Her cultural training started at New York University in 'Marketing and Fundraising in Art', which allowed her to work in Event Management for various large organizations in Italy, France, and England. These multidisciplinary experiences led her to specialize in a specific artistic field, contemporary art. She then pursued a second cycle of studies in England, earning a 'Master of Letters in Modern and Contemporary Art' at Glasgow University's London campus. During her seven-year experience in the Anglo-Saxon world, she interacted with high-level entities, collaborating with major auction houses like Christie's, Sotheby's, and Bonham's, and with many international private collections, organizing exhibitions, managing purchases and sales, conducting research, and developing contacts. In 2015, for family reasons, she returned to Italy where she manages several healthcare companies. SUTURA is an important project for Virginia, a space for discussion and a hub of ideas, through which she contributes to the development of the cultural landscape of the territory.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t

\n\t\tTiziana Miniero \t<\/h3>\n\t\t\t

Research Administrator Grant Project for AOU Citt\u00e0 della Salute e della Scienza in Turin, Tiziana has been involved since 2010 in the coordination, administrative, and financial management of scientific research projects, with a particular focus on European projects. Specifically, she facilitates access to various funding opportunities and project implementation by providing support actions to project managers in executing activities, meeting project deadlines, and maintaining relationships with funding entities.\nA law graduate with specialization in European project planning, she loves her job, which has become a great passion through dedication and determination. \"Each person has the opportunity to do something for others, and this is the challenge I share with the SUTURA association.\"\n<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t

\n\t\tIFT\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\t

Since 1899, located at Via Sacchi 24, a center for rehabilitation and diagnostics in Piedmont, IFT has been committed for over a century to assisting people in addressing health issues. SUTURA and the IFT are situated in a condominium on the historic street characterized by the city's famous arcades. Via Sacchi is considered today a new urban, social, and cultural challenge, with various stakeholders engaged in rethinking public space in light of ongoing social and economic transformations. Public space is where a sense of belonging and social balance are manifested; it is the place where concepts of inclusion and dialogue take shape. The IFT is pleased to participate in this transformation. \n<\/p>\n\t\t\t

The project's curation is entrusted to qwatz - contemporary art platform, a research and production platform that supports artists, cultural organizations, and businesses in cultural planning. In dialogue with companies, qwatz focuses on the communicative and relational power of contemporary art: through exhibition activities, training, communication projects, and workshops, it creates opportunities to express the specificities of individual realities and strengthen their connection with the territory.<\/p>\n\t\t\t

In the perspective of forging connections and activating relationships with the territory, SUTURA collaborates with local realities and begins its journey with two important neighborhood partnerships, the historic pastry shop in Via Sacchi, Pfatisch, and the excellence brand that tells the story of vermouth in Turin, Dora Grossa. These relationships arise thanks to the precious collaboration of the Rilanciamo Via Sacchi Committee, which has been building a network in the historic street for a few years, capable of developing projects such as artist shutters and activating fundamental connections for the redevelopment of the San Secondo neighborhood.\n<\/p>\n\t\t
