SILVIA HELL

The exhibition Derivazioni introduces the research of the artist Silvia Hell, presenting some cores of her production: VOLUMES, A FORM OF HISTORY, AIR.

The artist takes into consideration various disciplines that constitute some tools for understanding the world: from philosophy to science, from mathematics to geometry, from literature to aesthetics. Her works interpret and formalize the tension between the data that claim to objectively represent reality and the visions that these same data can generate when observed from other points of view.

Silvia Hell processes the data into forms: she creates volumes, size ratios, develops proportions, generates sound and light impulses to hypothesize their movement. Forms, proportions and rhythm therefore become the key to accessing the perceptual possibilities and the emotional scanning that become part of the sensitive and intellectual knowledge of the world.
