Cosimo Veneziano

Cosimo Veneziano was born in Moncalieri (TO) in 1983 and lives and works in Turin. Characterized by extensive research and workshop activities, his practice focuses on the development of sculpture and drawing in close correlation with the places that inspired them. His production has also developed towards the creation of artworks in public spaces, including the monument to Pinot Gallizio and Constant in Alba, and the project for Nuovi Committenti in Rovigo.

Among the most recent solo exhibitions: Patrimonio Dissidente, MAC DI Lissone with the support of Stategia Fotografia 2023, L’acqua del 2000 at the Museo della Montagna in Turin as part of Art Site Festiva, Biomega Multiverso, CAMERA, Turin and MUFUOCO – Museo di Fotografia in Cinisello Balsamo, made possible thanks to the support of the Italian Council, 2019 and Bando Ora of the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation. Among the group exhibitions in Italy and abroad: L’Italia è un Desiderio, photographs and landscapes and visions at the Scuderie del Quirinale, Rome, 2023; MOSTRA REFOCUS Archivio visiva della pandemic, Triennale di Milano, 2021 and in 2018 he was selected for the Talent Prize for photography and exhibited at the MACRO in Rome.
