Through the work of Stefania Migliorati, SUTURA focuses on the concept of identity through the lenses of technoscience, biotechnology and artificial intelligence. The intersection between human, natural and artificial encompasses a vast range of actions, synthesized in man’s intervention on nature and the use of various techniques, in order to increase his own well-being. Since always the object of moral, economic, social and cultural reflections, these actions update from time to time the identity parameters around which each generation questions and repositions itself: what are the boundaries we are crossing today? What will the new ones be? How can we traverse the fracture between cyborg and natural identity?
